There is a lot of support for the Tea Party movement. On the other hand, there are a lot of naysayers as well. I feel like I lost my voice, the voice of representation, somewhere last year in the hype of the general elections, and I feel like I lost it with both of the major political parties. I think a lot of people felt that way and continue to feel that way. For me, the crescendo has come with the massive spending bills and “emergency” legislation that is being rammed through with the current administration. I don’t feel like my Congressman represents me, nor do I feel like he hears me. And I don’t think I’m alone. I think there are a LOT of people out there who feel the exact same way. What we lack in representation in DC, we can make up for on our streets, in our homes, and at our offices and with our friends. I can no longer be silent and sit by and watch my country turn from the greatest nation on earth, to somewhere I don’t recognize. I love my Constitution. I love my country. And it’s my intention to preserve both.
There are so many reasons why I feel the need for the Tea Party movement to continue, but this is where I’m going to begin. Please, join with me. Let’s take back our voice, let’s let our voices be heard, and let’s stand up for what we feel is right and true.
