The Purse and The Sword – Legislative Work Group Kickoff

A Policy work group discussing Sound Money (The Purse) and the “Militia of the several states” (The Sword) within Virginia law and how we can restore both. We will be watching video reading research papers and crafting solutions for CONSTITUTIONAL homeland security in Virginia.
The goal of this workgroup is to craft legislation for Virginia that can be sponsored and moved forward in the next legislative session (2013) as well as craft incremental steps to further our agenda items.
This workgroup is for those that DO and not those that TALK.

What you need:
Your Defensive Carry Gun (9mm and higher)
3 Magazines. (You can have less but no more, HIGHLY recommend 3)
Your Holster
100 – 150 Rounds of Ammo
Concealment Garment (Button down shirt, large tshirt, etc anything that covers the gun completely)
Eye and Ear Protection
Magazine holder (HIGHLY recommended not required, you can store them in your pocket)
How much: $20 (bring cash their CC machine is unstable)

Spectators are welcome…. but they will probably want to shoot. They need at least hearing protection.
Do not hesitate to show up. It is a very laid back atmosphere and very friendly to new shooters.
The range is a cold range so show up unloaded.
Feel free to bring / invite your friends or loved ones. It really is a fun time.

Come chat with other reloaders and share your ideas and passion for the shooting sports. Lynchburg Arms has a good selection of guns to preview as well.
The Press is currently setup for .40 cal reloading. If you would like to load just let me know and I can show you how.

USPSA – Roanoke Rifle and Revolver Club
Match starts promptly at 10 a.m. and is usually wrapped up at from 12 to 1.
I’ll be leaving my house in the timberlake area around 8 a.m.
If you would like to shoot this match the cost is $15 + Share Gas.
You’ll need around 150 to 180 rounds of ammo.
You don’t need to have previously shot any competitions.
USPSA is a lot like golf in that you are really only playing against yourself.
